I was dropping Rachel off last Tuesday night--we had been at a game night at Kristina's house. When we pulled up to her house, we both noticed something interesting at her front door: a cute green box. I figured it was the box for the 135 Days of Christmas. I tried my very best to look surprised and interested--without 'over acting'. I think I did ok :)
I will say that the look on Rachel's face--such a mix of happiness, curiosity and excitement--was so fun to see!!! :)

Treats
The Olimbs left this bag of goodies that Asher made for us with the goodies they had been given. The note on the bag reads, "Dear gift giver - Asher wanted you to have a cookie that he made for the one leaving all the fun activities for him, but seriously I wouldn't eat it if I were you :) Love to whoever you are, The Olimb's"

Thank You card
We picked this card up on Saturday (9/4) night...
"Cookies AND Pizza!!!! Oh my gosh, this has been so fun for us, and such a blessing to have something fun to look forward to everyday. Asher is still loving his Toy Story color sheets. :)" Then on the left side it says, "Lots of love to whoever you are!!!"
ALMOST caught
So on Thursday night (9/2) Aaron went to drop off the card and a gift card to Papa John's at the O's. When he arrived the light in their garage was home and there was a car parked out front. He figured they just got home from somewhere and that the car was the babysitter. So he decided to just run to the door, drop it off, and run back.
When he got up to the door, he could hear them talking on the other side. So he dropped the stuff in the green box and turned around. Then he heard the door knob turning. So I'm pretty sure he started running back to his car. He jumped in and didn't even shut his door cause he didn't want them to hear. He parked down the street for a few minutes and didn't see any action going on at their house. Was he hearing things? So he drove back by to get out of there to see sweet Rachel standing on the porch talking to someone.
that. was. close.

Greatest Gift Giver Ever!
On Day 2 of 135 days I went by the Olimb's to drop off a card, cookie mix and icing for Ashley.
In the box was a card and a bag of pirates booty!!
If you don't know what that is it's like popcorn but without all the 'plastic' - one of Rachel and Jeremy's favorite snacks; attached to the bag a note read
"a snack for you to enjoy on your ride home".
She also had a card that read:
"Dear Greatest Gift Giver Ever,
We don't know who you are, but its obvious you're incredibly loving and generous. What a gift you are to our family! Apparently you know Asher quite well because Toy Story is his favorite :)
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
We love you!
Greatest Gift Giver Ever!!!

Welcome!
So we thought it would be fun to have a blog to be able to share with each other any funny stories about dropping our stuff off at the Olimb's, if they left you something, or whatever you can think of! So please write about whatever you'd like.
We will either give Rachel and Jeremy the blog address at the end, or print it out into a scrapbook for them to enjoy!
